there have been certain discussions revolving the few words written in the title.
Partially i felt like my idea got copied LOL. But on a more serious note, i guess not.
Im still working my way to some sort of a goal.
And eventually when i do, i admit i would like to at the very least go back my secondaryschool to give a talk.
As i try to figure out why such aspiration?
For me, i wish to address the struggles i experienced through adolescence. If you have known me for a long then you should understand better i guess.
When i eventually am satisfied enough with my professional progression to share as some sort of speaker, i wish to let the girls know that as a kid in singapore it’s probably common to have a singular definition of happiness-success. Easy to be blinded, misled. Most importantly i wish for them to know that success exist in such a variety that they just need to have the courage to explore.
Not saying that my path must be the best, or that it should be encouraged etc.
Rather, life is as exciting and colourful as you allow it to be. Dont love yourself any less just because of seemingly terrible academic results. Dont undermind your self worth even when everyone else seems to be “better” than you are. Because we all have our strengths and weaknesses. I guess i just wish for young kids to know that not being able to sail smoothly, or be thoroughly comfortable in an environment that only promotes 1 kind of success is not the end of their world.
But haha oh well who knows how long more ill need.
